All questions are mandatory. To support your application, you will need to provide the following pieces of evidence:

A photo of your site

A copy of your public liability insurance and employer’s liability insurance certificate.

      If you move customers’ vehicles then you will also need to provide a copy of your motor insurance certificate.

A sample copy of the employment contract you provide to workers

A sample copy of a recent pay slip and/or invoice for self-employed staff

A photo of a health and safety poster displayed at your site or a copy of a health and safety leaflet that you provide to workers at the site.

RCWS Accreditation consists of two stages:-

Stage 1: completion of online application form with supporting evidence.

Stage 2: on site audit ( for hand car washes).

Your application will only move to stage 2 once all the necessary evidence requirements have been received. Failure to complete stage 1 within 6 weeks of your application will mean that your application will cease and all monies will be returned to you minus a 20% administration fee. Should you wish to re-apply to the RCWS you will need to start the process again.

Evidence can be suppled in PDF (for documents) or JPEG format (for images) and uploaded into the relevant box providing it is clear and all text can be seen.
